This Example HACCP study manual forms part of a system that achieved certification to the BRC/IoP Packaging Standard - category B. Obviously all of the mentioned procedures were in place and fully implemented.

Please bear in mid also that the HACCP manual has not been updated since 2002 and may not be up to date with current best practice and requirements of the latest food packaging GMP standards and legislation.

Am currently working on training and soon to develop a HACCP system for a food packaging company that produces and supplies pre forms for the beverage industry.
Since I am basically from a Food Science background, and have been involved in HACCP system training, development and implementation within the food environment mainly, I was hoping to get some information about HACCP plan in a plastic pre-form production plant (deals with virgin PET only), more specifically about the microbiological and chemical hasards I should be focusing on (pathogens?, migrating chemicals from additives?...)
If anyone cany help, will appreciate it lots,
