Good morning to everybody,

We have been audit by Efsis (BRC issue 5), on 3 & 4 September (finished yesterday).

We have achieve the Grade A .

One of the minor-non conformances was: "There are no flow diagram maps which show the process flow" (requirement reference: 4.3.1.1).

We have maps of the factory and the flow diagrams of all the processes, but we need to put in the factory map, the indication of the process flow...

I have never seen it before... Anyone have an example, or a site in the Internet to help me???

Hi Filipa

You need to have a "map" which shows process flow (from low care to high care), and also one that shows "traffic" (be it personnel or forklift trucks etc). this is to demonstrate that you have addressed any potential contamination risks

You should also have a map of all facilities on site (toilets, canteen, changing areas etc) as well as a drainage map, and a map that pinpoints hazardous chemicals (oil tanks, chemical stores)

you could try and ut all this info on one map, but i find it gets too complicated.

We have one's that shows "traffic", but we don't have with process flow... It will be grateful to see one example, to help me (Maps are not my speciality... )...

And it's a pleasure when I feel that I can help somebody here...

We are note ISO 22000 certified.. We have our system aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, but not certified.
