can anybody tell me is "cold room temperature record" is part of the PRP??

It will depend on what you do after that cool room. It could be an OPRP or a CCP. But not an PRP, because monitoring of temperature is not intended to keep hygiene conditions for food safety.

I would regard it a ccp,because it is a food safety and quality control measure.

Hi Carine,

It depends on your process and products and why you are maintaining the temperature in cold room.
Perhaps you can provide us with more information regarding your product/ process/ etc.

Hello,

I believe it is not a PRP but rather a CCP depending on the product you are storing in it.

Dear Carine,

Storage areas shall be dry and well ventilated.
Monitoring and control of temperature and humidity shall be applied where specified.


(From PAS220 but no idea if latest edition.)

Take yr pick or, perhaps even better, do a risk assessment. :smile:

It is depend on your risk assessment .Base on risk assessment you can decide it is OPRP or CCP . but it cannot be PRP
