Could anyone assist me how to make a Food Safety Plan and what items include in it. I know that every company does things a little different but a sample food safety plan is very much appreciated.

Dear MOM,

Do you mean a HACCP Plan ?

If so, (and if not so), what is the context ?

No, I was referring to the ISO 22000’s counterpart of Quality Plan in ISO 9001, if any. Something like a generic plan that is used for a type of production and determines all the actions with product and process design to assure that the production process can deliver products that satisfy those needs. Is it a requirement of ISO 22000 also?

Dear MOM,

I think you are confusing yourself as to the meaning of "Quality".

Probably easier to consider ISO 22000 = Integrated (A + B) = Integrated [ISO 9001 + (ISO 22000 version of traditional HACCP)]

A provides a generic "Quality" Management System which in ISO 9001 is not specifically focused on safety.
B provides an additional system to focus on the safety aspect only.

Yes, I am confused. Also, I am not sure if we understand each other but I am referring to Planning and realization of safe products. The output of this planning is documented in the form of a plan.

Dear MOM,

You are absolutely correct  . I am (happily) not a routine user of 9001. I understand that Quality Plan (9001) is defined as -

document specifying which procedures and associated resources shall be applied by whom and when to a specific project, product, process or contract

This appears to be a fairly comprehensive document.
One obvious suggestion is to match the refered paragraphs of yr current 9001 QPlan document (assuming you hv one) with the table A2 conveniently supplied at end of ISO 22000 standard. I guess this should generate a starting set of requirements.

I am happy to re-pose yr request to dual exponents of 9001 / 22000 here. Anybody ?

Rgds / Charles.C

Kind Regards,
