In particular about allergens. Can anybody help me with a model to face this fundamental? I have BRC ver 6 so I understand what they need, but this is the first time that I try to write a manual based on BRC standard.
Many thanks

Check in the file share library. Lots of great documents there!

What kind of BRC document are you looking to create?

My advice is to write the manual as a direct lift from the standard. The Quality manual's purpose is to outline the policies of your company regarding the various clauses. After you have the Quality Manual written, you will have a much better understanding of what the standard requires. After writing the Quality Manual you will then create the Standard Operating procedures which will show how you will actually control the various issues, and then from that you can generate the records required to provide evidence that your issues are under control.

Regarding Allergens, you need to assess which allergens are on site and how you intend to control their use, and prevent cross contamination.

I have examples of these documents if you wish to see them, just PM me.

regards

Trudy
