Every bussiness under food supply chain need to have a in house procedure for external communication related food safety and site safety questionaires. This includes foos safety policy need to be in a open access area ( Staff common room, reception and goods delevery site). Apart from above bussiness need to have a site safety questionare first need to be filled in by every external contractor and visitor regardless ,how often they visit the site.A proper documentation for this procedure and any changes to your prctice need to be communicated with all suppliers and customer in a timely manner.RegardsDebadutta

To Hygienic:

You may need to have a procedure to describe how you communicate externally (with the suppliers of raw / packaging materials, testing lab, pest controller, certification body, governmental agencies etc including your customer/consumer) via email, fax etc (mode and / or method of communication with evidence) for food safety-related matters.

To Hygienic:

I do not have the procedure (not certified to FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000) but what I saw from my sister company (ISO 22000 certified), they wrote a few simple sentences some thing like above in their Food System Management System Manual under Communication.

Dear Yong;

I have spoken to the Auditor again and he said the same, to mention and write the Methodology of the communication externally and to be added to the Manual .

Thanks alot for your clarifications .

Hygienic
