Greetings, IFSQN members! I am a microbiologist who has recently joined the world of frozen food co-manufacturing. I have two big challenges on my hands at the moment: leveling up from SQF level 2 to 3, and the installation of a pot pie line in my plant.

 

My background includes experience in several ingredient manufacturing plants, including:

Obviously I am too new to post correctly. Can I only edit posts with a paid membership?

 

Anyway, I have worked in flour milling, spray drying, industrial fermentation, dry blending, dairy processing (yogurt), protein hydrolysis, and even dabbled in some pharma.

First off no you don't have to have a paid membership to edit a post but I believe you have to move up from "Active User" to the next level.. it's around 10 or 20 posts I'll have to look it up.

 

I have also worked in yogurt (greek), pasta, and now I'm in flour milling so we have a few commonalities in the food we have worked with.
