I am searching for a dictionary for the ISO-standards. I do have the ISO 9000:2015 but some words are failing (ex. the definition of "code number"). Does anybody know if this can be found anywhere?

Dear conny, there are many terms which ISO and other bodies have not standardized. I was wondering a few day ago that the term 'standard'  itself is not defined in ISO 9000:2015.  . Some terms in ISO 9000:2015 are marked as 'dictionary word' and are not defined such as 'Result'.

 

The solution to this problem is to consult a good dictionary and have an understanding. You may consult experts on this forum to get better understanding but first you need to give complete context of that term. This will help you to device a simple definition of your own.
