Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for organic certifier's?  We are currently using OCIA and it is taking 3 months to get products approved for production.  I have been looking at switching to QAI.  They are claiming they can have products reviewed within 3-5 business days.  Does anyone use them and can confirm that?  Any other recommendations would be appreciated!

When I first got my original company orgaonically certified, we used QAI.  This was in the early 2000's.  As long as the IPP's and labels were set up correctly, they were quite quick with product approval.

My new facility is using Baystate Organic Certifiers.  I have not had to have a new product certified, so I cannot attest to their response time.

It is all matter of choice.

Good Luck.

Recommend Oregon Tilth (OTCO).  They are fast, friendly, competitvely priced, knowledgeable and can rush your application.  Paperwork is straightforward.  Process has integrity to the NOP.  We have been with them for three years and are very satisfied.

Good luck!
