Ours is bespoke to our process with pictures showing the correct way to open the box and the correct way to open the bag with the right type of sharp implement (fish, knife, penguin knife, scissors it depends what you allow) if you have a picture of this is good and this is bad it makes it nice and easy to train out as well

hi i don't know if anyone is still monitoring this topic but here's my work instruction for bag opening...

i just wanted to know what equipment everyone uses to open raw material bags?

we dont use a swan knife anymore and find the staff dont request blade changes frequently enough and have asked for scissors but it doesnt sound like it would be much better to me...

has anyone any thoughts??
