Hi,

Look forward to discussing SQF and learning from everyone's experiences implementing SQF for their companies and/or consulting to a company,

The company I consult for is starting on road to SQF.   I having done initial reading of SQF, the owner wants to know the impact of SQF.  I have questions concerning how the Scope of Certification is applied if we have two businesses in the same building and we do not want to SQF one of the businesses. This is due to COVID affecting that business.

The part requiring SQF, initially, is the Storage and Distribution.  The Scope of Certification mentions when defining the site exemptions ca n be documented and further down in the document is states SQL Certification is product specific.  I am trying to understand what this means and what are the boundaries.

I have worked in the Life Sciences in the past working in compliance, but Life Sciences and Food distribution are two different domains.
