Hi All

Strange request!

We are a printing company that prints on to polythene, and we have been asked to supply a copy of our Solvent Management Plan. We’ve never been asked before, and we don’t currently have one.

Has anyone got any ideas / examples they could share?

Does it necessarily apply to solvents only?

IMO, a general chemical controlling suffice enough, like in compliance with clause 4.9.3. In this case, inks are also included.

A loophole of this management plan is that one can classify a certain compound as a thinner, diluent, additive instead of solvent. Oh, and is water a solvent too, which is the most common one in real life?
