Looking for information about the potential contamination of using direct heat for drying systems (like a spray dryer) in the EU.

I am not too familiar with European regulations, was not sure if there was a ban on its use or just that it should be considered as a hazard.

Any information about direct vs. indirect heat and their hazards would be most helpful. Thank you.

Kind regards,

What is it you are drying?

Basically whey protein powder but using alternative proteins So even if there is a dairy regulation related to this, I would still be interested in knowing about it since it will be a dairy alternative.
