Hi, if I may ask, is there such a rule that splice tapes in flexible packaging should not be covering the photoeye marks? If it does not cover it, do sensors usually trigger the machine and count it as 1 cycle of packaging?

The only time in my experience that has been a rule is if a customer requests that.  Typically splice tapes are a different color, or metallized, etc.  in order for the customers equipment to pick it up and either stop the machine so it can be removed or for it to be kicked off.
