Hello,

 

If anyone could please help me with this- 

  • Is it mandatory to have the Salad labelling to have french as well english written if only selling in Ontario.
  • If the box is round , where exactly does the nft go?

Yes, in Ontario bilingual labelling is mandatory. (Bilingual food labelling - Canadian Food Inspection Agency (canada.ca))

 

The legally required info typically goes on the side or the back of the packaging.

 

Mandatory information on consumer prepackaged food must be shown in both official languages, that is, French and English. This includes core labelling requirements, such as common name, and prescribed words or expressions for specific foods [206, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR); B.01.012(2), Food and Drug Regulations (FDR)].
