Hello,

I am from Mauritius with 17 years of experience in food safety and QMS. I recently took a challenge and started working in medical devices as quality engineer. I wish to know whether there is any possibility of remote part time jobs (any form) in food safety and quality.

Thanks,

The only remote you'll get is working from home then traveling to multiple sites.

Maybe teaching training on-line too.

Plenty of "document review" type positions at various certifying bodies that I've seen.  Not to mention corporate level support for label approval, regulatory affairs, supplier maintenance, item maintenance, etc.

It's not the majority of food safety or quality positions, which are on the plant floors, but for 'remote work' that is typically done at a computer, it probably applies to the majority of those.

More than 70% of people that I deal with work remotely. There is a lot more to food industry than clean lines, and sealed bags. :D
