So, being as this is our first year being SQF Certified, I am going over every program as per our code.  When I go over a form, let's use FRM-022 Shipping Inspection Checklist, it was approved on 10/16/2023, and issued on the same date, but being as I have now reviewed it for 2025, should the version change?  or any of the dates on the form?

It is Version 1.0 as of now.

Or, so I simply need a sign off sheet verifying that I went over each form or program, and an initial showing that it is complete, with a date completed?

Obviously, if there are changes that are made, I would update the version and approval date on the form, but the Shipping Inspection Checklist is pretty standard, with no changes needed.

Thanks for all the help over the last few years.

As i see it there is no new version unless there are changes. So the only thing you need to do is to review the form for 2025.

I agree with @siskos here no need to version up or even have a reviewed date in your checklist, forms, programs, etc.  I add a column into my master document register and show the review date that coincides with the date that I have added into the SQFI code checklist when I've gone through the auditing process.   Keep it simple and make your job easier.

Just initial and date the original in your master binder if no changes are required  (but for a form I think even that is overkill)

Done and dusted
