I'm slightly confused regarding FSSC 22000 Additional Requirements Version 6 Section 2.5.11 Hazard Control and Measures for Preventing Cross- Contamination (All Food Chain Categories, Excluding FII):
d) For all food chain categories, excluding FII, the following requirements relating to foreign matter management apply, in addition to clause 8.2.4 (h) of ISO 22000:2018:
The organization shall have a risk assessment in place to determine the need and type of foreign body detection equipment required.
Is HACCP risk assessment sufficient to fulfill this requirement. Should I have make a separate document to fulfill requirement against this requirement.

I did mine as an additional tab in my HA, but basically rated things the same, risk/severity of impact of foreign materials, etc.. That's not to say how I did it is how everyone should, but my auditor accepted what I did. But to me it's a little different than the HA, so I kind of made it its own thing. Just look at your operation, what foreign material risks you have in your building, and run them through that sort of matrix, and judging by your scores, you'll know if you're ok as is, or if you need to make adjustments.
