Hi,

Does anyone have a copy of the latest version of the Woolworths Supplier Excellence food safety standard they are able to share?

And a question for those familiar with it - what do you think are the most challenging parts to comply with? How much of a step up it is for a business currently operating an MPI template food control plan?

How much time do you think would be involved to do this? I know it entirely depends on current state of system, so appreciate any ball park guesstimate. Assume worst case - company is working from template cards and hasn't documented many of their procedures at all.

Thanks

It's been a long time since I supplied Woolworths ANZ but I have in the past.  Is the site not accredited to a GFSI standard?  If not I'm surprised that it's being considered.

It looks like there is a lot online:

Knowledge-Hub-Tabs

But honestly the supplier should have access to all of this if they're a live supplier or looking to become one and their contact might be able to advise where is good to start.

My experience is sadly a bit old but from memory having a GFSI cert and also supplying UK retailers I can't think of any requirements they had over and above what we already did, apart from trying to insist we had 6 monthly audits which we successfully managed to resist.  But without that GFSI experience and with an essentially "off the shelf" FSQMS I think this will be a steep learning curve for them.  I'd almost be tempted to suggest they went for a GFSI standard first to comply with that.

Anyone got some more recent experience or help they can share?
