Hi everyone.

The site I work at (UK based) is looking into moving from manufacturing non-direct food contact labels (logistics labels and the like) into direct food contact labels (specifically the paper tea bag envelopes). Obviously there's quite a lot to figure out in the change over.

What I'm after is if anyone has any suggestions on reading material or instructional information related to the risks associated with making such products. I've picked up a copy of "global guidance on migration from packaging materials into food" and I'm working my way through "ask the experts" webinars on the BRCGS website.

Does anyone have any other recommended reading material?

Much appreciated.

I'd look at the entire BRCGS code specifically.

We're SQF US based. When we are thinking about making a big change to our process we always refer to the code for guidance. Good luck!
