Currently i would say that 25% of my work force are Eastern European, and i must admit they are excellent workers. I cannot fault their work ethics.....and would have no problems, bar one, in having a completely polish work force.

Whilst i can source some literature for the simpler hygiene rules in polish (CPA do a wonderful hand washing one) i'm stuck when it comes to some of the other rules we have, where i can translate into polish, an be gramatically correct. i do not want to offend my co-workers, as i know how translating into welsh we move our nouns and verbs about so they in a different order that you would find in english.

i'm happy to share the documents i have, but i wondered if there was someone out there who could help me to do some translation or point me in the direction of a site which has hygiene rules on the shelf, so to speak.

the kind of stuff i want to translate relate to our jewellry policy, hair net policy, how to dress in protective gear, pen policy, beard policy, smoking policy, return to work etc etc.

my new year resolution for 2008 is to learn a bit of polish ( more than gin dobre!)

Dear Cazx,

Do you have a budget ?

If so, could try –

http://www.clsolutio...olish_home.php#

I had a play with the restricted on-line demo which looked to be identical in 2 languages (I now recognize a few instructional/bacterial words in Polish ! ) and looked rather nice. Only immediate complaint – seemed to lack a “back” button.

Maybe you could make a coquettish request to preview the hygiene chunk

Only just seen this - I have been using the cls polish basic food hygiene training for a while now, its not too expensive and all who have used it say its fine.

Somewhere I have factory rules in English and Polish if I can find it I will upload (or mail to someone to use). It covers jewellery, hair nets nail varnish etc.
