I make the average 2.22 right now, that's after today's Portugal v Czech Republic match and before Switzerland v Turkey.

If we stopped right now who would be winning, let me see - it would be Doobey. Bang on the money with 2.22. To the rest of you don't give up I have a feeling this could change.

Football results

My how quickly averages change.

Following last nights two 1-0 victories for Germany and Croatia the average number of goals scored for the tournament so far is 2.40. That means ISMU is in the lead.

Is anybody interested?

I didn't know Nadal was playing ? :o :o

Or is it the referee ?

Charles

PS @ Simon, not that I'm getting anxious but what is the conclusion if the final calculated average is something like 2.355, >> 35 or 36 ? Perhaps it was in the rules (somewhere back yonder  )

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

No it wasn't (I'm not that smart). :helpplease: It will be something like whatever my excel spreadsheet tells me it is, or how much I like someone (or not). No seriously I'm not that lacking in moral fibre. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

Anyway it wasn’t a bad guess Charles as the current average is 2.363636 or 2.36, which means Kox is in the lead.

Cheers,
Simon

Dear Simon,

Well, I happened to notice that averaging the last two results and subtracting 0.05 >> fancy that ! :happydance:

Looks like there are a few bargains around at the moment -

I noticed this comment about the new superstar, Arshavin -

He looks a bit like Prince Harry with a fringe.

OK after the semi final the number of goals scored so far in the competition is 86 with the average goals per game being 2.87.

Jon 3.01
A Murp 2.89
sujit 2.80

By my calculations the prize will be fought out between the three aforementioned members.

1 or 2 goals in the final and Sujit will the champion.
3, 4 or 5 goals and A Murp will be the champion
6 or more goals and Jon will be the champion

In the end Sujit did not want a sports shirt and has instead accepted a cash payment of £25 GBP as an alternative.

THE END.
