About The Manufacturer LIVE 2005

The Manufacturer LIVE 2005 is a living extension to the award winning flagship magazine The Manufacturer. Its objective is to spread manufacturing best practice.

The Manufacturer LIVE 2005 will bring together over 50 speakers from the manufacturing sector, 2000 senior manufacturing directors/managers and 80 product/service suppliers, for what will be the biggest ever sharing/showcase/celebration of manufacturing best practice. Those seeking a future as manufacturers will be there to listen and to be inspired.

The format of The Manufacturer LIVE 2005 extends way beyond a traditional exhibition; a two-day event featuring workshops, seminars, lectures and debates taking place in seven zones, the aim being to create a highly content-rich experience.

The zones correspond to The Manufacturer’s seven pillars of manufacturing:

· Leadership and strategy
· World class manufacturing
· Design and innovation
· Skills and HR
· Logistics and supply chain
· IT in manufacturing
· Manufacturing operations

Alongside are integrated centres dedicated to:

· Finance
· Energy
· Procurement
· Outsourcing
· Recruitment

The Manufacturer LIVE 2005 is also playing host to The Manufacturer Awards 2005 which , following their success in 2004, will again recognise the world class levels of manufacturing excellence being achieved in Britain’s finest factories.

The purpose of all the activities taking place at The Manufacturer LIVE 2005 is to fulfill our mission to promote and share best practice in manufacturing. Whether you have come to event in previous years or will be attending for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to The Manufacturer LIVE 2005.

Corporate Responsibility in Food and Agribusiness
29 - 30 September 2005, Café Royal, London

Demonstrating a commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) is no longer just an option for the food industry, it is now an essential element of corporate survival and success in the new millennium, and probably more important for the food industry than any other industry sector.

The emphasis at the conference which is being supported by the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) and Business in the Community (BITC) will be on an interactive approach, with the papers presented in a non-technical way, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. Join us in London for this unrivalled opportunity and network with senior executives in the food industry with a close interest in CSR.
