Event Description

May 09, Friday 10:00 AM PDT | 01:00 PM EDT

The webinar will assist attendees in developing the ability to manage food safety risks by utilizing continual improvement techniques for management and problem solving. It will review scenarios where food safety work can become complex and propose alternatives to simplify it without losing effectiveness.

Why Should You Attend:

A key attribute of a wise food safety manager is the ability to maximize the prevention of food safety events with a limited budget. By practicing the maintenance and improvement of a system of plans and procedures anyone can develop the capacity to manage people, requirements and budgets as well as to demonstrate leadership skills.

This webinar will help attendees to develop their ability to maximize the amount of risks controlled with a limited budget, so they can manage an effective prevention of food safety events without loading their team with unnecessary work. By being able to switch between simplicity and complexity they should be able to navigate more easily through their system.

This webinar will be presented using the premise that everything is simple before it gets complex. This is especially useful when the incorporation of science into management systems is required.
