Sanitation and cleaning programs are the cornerstone of creating a safe working environment for employees and for the food they produce. The design, upkeep, and management of equipment, buildings, and grounds to provide a sanitary, efficient, and reliable manufacturing environment must be considered when building or evaluating your sanitation program. Jesse Leal, Food Safety Professional at AIB International with over 30 years of experience, will discuss some tips to help you improve your current sanitation program.

Speaker Bio:
Jesse Leal is a Food Safety Professional at AIB International. He is originally from Arizona and now lives in Los Angeles. Prior to coming to AIB, Jesse worked at Frito Lay and Mission Foods for a combined 10 years in various positions. He joined AIB in 1996 as a food safety auditor and later became a food defense specialist, conducting more than 1,700 food safety audits related to GMPs, agricultural practices, food defense, and FSMA in 11 countries for some of the largest multinational food manufacturers. Jesse has also served as a consultant to help El Salvador implement their country’s Good Agricultural Practices and authored several trade press articles.
