Hi,

I just saw this web forum today after searching for some information. I didn´t know that this forum exists.
A nice one I think !

I´m searching for a comparison between the BRC standard version 5 and the Dutch HACCP (version A) standard.

I know that this kind of cross link tables exists.

It would be grate if someone can upload it or send me the link where I can found it.

I think that this kind of reference matrix table must exists while I found many others on the internet but none compare between BRC and HACCP.

Dear PAL,

I understand that BRC is based on Codex HACCP so as far as HACCP is concerned, I guess yr query is essentially Dutch HACCP vs Codex HACCP. I cannot find anything as recent as BRCv.5 but if validity to 2006 is any use, there is some detailed x-comparisons in the link below (particularly main text and annex4)

PS - I noticed a comment elsewhere that it is Dutch HACCP (B) which recognised by GFSI but hv no idea the difference between A and B (I'm sure you do though )

PPS - I also later noticed that the freely downloadable Dutch HACCP (A),(B) (2006) documents contain a detailed x- comparison to Codex HACCP (annex2) ??

Many thanks for repling on my message. This is a good start to work with it further. I think that I have to work it out by myself


In the link below you can download (pdf format) the cross reference between option A and B. Sadly this is only in Dutch.

The reason for the 2 options is due to the GFSI demands. The combination of A (management system) and B (proces, productcertification) will be a good alternative for IFS / BRC / SQF2000. The report is also strong altered.
This "new" Dutch HACCP aims a better possition than ISO 22000 at the moment. It's a good solution for organisations who wants to meet the GFSI standards with one assessment.
It's free to choice for one or both options. Mosly this depent on the customers aims.
