Dear monzer,

Sorry if I get you wrong, but IMO antiseptic gloves and 70 % alcohol sprayer would do the task with much efficiently. When the worker needs to go to the bathroom or havin a meal break, he/she needs to wash his/her hand properly before went to work again. Does it helps you a bit?

Arya

Dear monzer,

Much appreciate yr trust.
Sadly, hv never worked in a supermarket but I agree they must hv a standard (daily?) cleaning SOP for this item. Anybody got any "inside" knowledge of supermarket haccp pre-requisites "

My thoughts regarding any "on-the-go" appropriate treatment were similar to Arya's first post. I understand that this method is a routine user option in USA but hv also seen it referred to as being rather "paranoid" or simply "over the top". I guess it depends on your risk appraisal and the precise situation. The modern procedure of wheeling the trolleys outside into any arbitrary location must incur some risk but never seen any quantification of possible consequences.

I will revert if any other inspirational ideas.

Rgds / Charles.C

Kind Regards,
