Employee feedback as an internal communication - Yes!

When you (or trainer of your company) performs internal training like food hygiene, personal hygiene, safety at work, etc. periodically, after the training you may ask them for the feedback (training evaluation is different) :

What problems they face during the work, record the problem, person name and discuss in management review meeting or food safety team meeting or weekly operational meeting and the records (including minutes of the meeting) for the same maintained as internal communication.

As Isal and Abdul already mentioned you need internal communication structures for gathering employee feedback. Formal, Informal, Documented and Verbal. I can fully understand the importance of this requirement as the front line operators are fundamental to the effective operation of the Food Safety Management System and they know what is and isn’t going on. Their feedback is also important not just for maintenance of the status quo but as a driver of continual improvement of the system, which is also a requirement.

Simon
