Sorry, I mean that obviously during this time of year, my Muslim colleagues are having to work all day (without eating) but surrounded by food. I was just curious how you managed to get through the day?
Also do you have any special procedures in your factories for Ramadan for when you break the fast?
Just adding some points to the reply of Abdul Qudoos, Muslims are expected (by religious law) to get nicely managed themselves all day (from sunrise to sunset) without eating even if they are surrounded by food. Actually, this is the main theme of this law that a person practice his body, soul and mind to get restrained himself or herself from any thing (not only food but many other doings) just to obey the instructions of God. This is a training to get prepared a person to obey the instructions of God for the rest of the year. You can also treat it as a test for muslims by the God. A person who pass this test will be glorified with precious rewards and one who fail whould definely be a looser.
Muslims do not need extra ordinary special procedures in the factory during Ramadan except they need to have some time before sunrise and at sunset for eating something for starting and breaking their fast. IMO, giving time relaxations, except as mentioned above, for muslim workers is a religeous favor not a religeous rule to follow as God expect from a muslim to have a tough time to get high rewards.
Hope you got you answer.
