Hello!!

I think I signed up one or two years ago, but I can now be able to introduce myself.

Checking the member map, I am the only member from this side of the world, I mean southamerica. My name is Elio, I am working at TECNOGAS, it is an organization that recently get a HACCP certification. Because of that certification I was looking for a web where I can get updated information regarding HACCP, food, hazards, and stuff.

I posted few comments but I hope to increase that number!!!!!

Dear elito,

Nice to hear from you.

I suspect the "member map" is very much a work in (manual?)(Simon)progress. There are definitely not zero members in India / Pakistan, or Afghanistan!. And almost certainly S.America. However i don't recall any other mentions of Peru

Please don't forget to post any problems some time (although I sincerely hope yr life is perfect!)

Rgds / Charles.C

PS after reading the "title" of member map, it appears to require poster participation (somehow), hence the limited display, sorry Simon :sofa1:

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

53 members have added their location to the member map thus far, which for my usual “tumbleweed rolling” innovations is quite a good result. Not sure but you may have to remove one or two layers of your impenetrable securities before you can do it Charles. This site isn’t bad if you just learn to relax. :gitane:

Welcome to the forums Elito, please feel free to join the discussions and congratulations on being our first Peruvian Pin in the Member Map.

:welcome:

Simon

As I mentioned, the organization where I work just got the HACCP certification. Because of that we had to research and check all kind of sources. This forum had a lot to do with that accomplish.

Here in Peru, HACCP is one of the most important tool for food companies to ensure a hazard-free process.

Very good work!!!!

Thanks for that feedback Elito, it's nice to hear. Only a very small proportion of visitors register to become a member and even less tell us how they got here, why they came and how we helped them etc. I'm pleased the site helped you in some small way.

Regards,
Simon
