Hello friends, we need internal audit team and they shall receive training on relevant audit techniques before performing system audit. How to make the best team, there role and training needs. How do you do the same?

You may want to check out ISO 19011:2002 Guidelines for QMS and EMS Auditing. Not food safety auditing but the same principles.

• Understanding principles of auditing
• Identifying needed auditor competence
• Selecting audit teams
• Conducting internal and external audits
• Managing audit programs
• Evaluating auditor performance

1. Initiation Define audit objectives.
2. Review Examine the documents.
3. Preparation Plan for onsite activities.
4. Execution Audit the quality system.
5. Reporting Report the audit results.
6. Completion Complete the audit plan.
7. Follow-Up Conduct follow-up audit.

I know about ISO 19011:2002 Guidelines for QMS and EMS Auditing and have copy.
But what extra audit need on food safety or ISO 22000?

Try section 8.4.1 of the standard. I presume you have a copy. :smile:

Note that a risk-based procedure is required. This will depend on your process.
