I am currently preparing for an SQF audit. One of the problems pointed out in our assessment audit was that there has to be some kind of guard(s) around the light and head lights on our fork lifts. I've been looking online and trying to contact fork lift providers, but have had no luck finding any thing that fits our needs. I was hoping someone would have some options they know of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Hi Scott,
We had to cover our glass forklift headlights with fine stainless steel mesh under the Silliker national audit standards.
When we went for SQF level 2 certification we had to actually change them to unbreakable plastic lenses.
You should be able to source them on the web.
Good Luck, Ray

I'm not familiar with SQF but are they actually glass? This would be fairly unusual? Could this be covered off with inspection before and after use? How often do they break?
