Clarification required please.......

Internal follow up visits - required alternative days (i.e. every other) then 3 clear visits alternative days plus one 7 days later.

Currently my pest controller is turning up 2 days then 4 days and we have an issue internally

What's youre thoughts.

Depends what the issue is. Internal rodents, I'd expect them here daily. Internal stored product insects (not a severe infestation) then that's probably ok.

What is the problem??What is the level of the problem?? What are they doing??

What is the contractual remit??, BRC still states every other day and then 3 clear then 7 day revisit is it not?

Daily if the`re using glue boards, that`s the COP and the animal welfare act also.

So please expand APS

The specification (I guess you're working from BRC or M&S) does indeed state as you've described. Without a good rationale and a corresponding risk assessment, deviation from that will result in non-cons on audit.

However, from a pest control prespective, there may be good reasons for not using the standard follow-up procedure. I can think of a few off the top of my head - including dealing with box-shy mice - where a derogation may be applied for.

The bottom line for me here is that you seem to have some issues with confidence in your contractor. If that is the case, you need to speak frankly to them and challenge them on their procedures and risk assessments. I assume they are aware that you need the specification adhered to (have you actually told them that?).
