The cost of ICIX has tripled this year....I would like to know for the companies that use this because Wal Mart and other require them to, who pays for the registration? QA, Sales or Operations?

Thanks just trying to get a feel for which part of the company should pay for the service since it is now so expensive

If you are like most places you know it is a necessary evil but no one wants to volunteer the money. You have to make the decision on who pays for it.

To find out who is on it, do a search from icix page for member companies. Several large retailers like WalMart use it and there are a few large manufacturers starting to use it. You can search based on market criteria which could help narrow down your customer base.
