i should like to know the differences betwen iso 22000:2005 and iso 22002
Dear italianbruschi,
In fact ISO 22002 (I2) is a series of standards, namely ISO22002-1, ISO 22002-2, etc currently issued up to -3.
ISO 22000 was rather non-explicit concerning the prerequisite programs required to fulfil its hygienic requirements. The “I2” series fills this gap plus enables certain other capabilities, eg certification to FSSC 22000. Each I2 member specifies a set of prerequisite programs whose scope is oriented towards particular sectors in the food “chain” .
The various scopes (published and projected) are (briefly) summarised here –
