Dear carine,

I'm confused.
You have stated yr company is already certified to iso22000.
So presumably you didn't need a quality assurance manual.?

Which AFAIK is also probably correct in general.

Basically you have to show compliance with the standard.

On the other hand, most producers find it almost unavoidable not to have a quality assurance manual to organise their analysis procedures, etc.
Perhaps your product does not require much analysis ?? :dunno:

Dear carine,

how to prove them we compliance with standard

Give them a copy of yr iso22000 certificate ?

But they may still ask to see your Quality Assurance Manual. Many customers do, because most processors have this manual.

Any measurement / document / data which is directly or indirectly related to maintaining / achieving the desired quality of yr product is categorisable within "quality control". i guess that was the reason for the pH, chlorine checking ?

PS AFAIK = as far as I know.

PPS - i should hv added that you also need to remember that iso22000 is primarily a system for Food Safety so that the non-safety related characteristics of your product will be covered in additional documentation. This material is typically collected into a QA (or QC) manual for convenience. Often several manuals.

Kind Regards,
