The benefit of a manufacturing company at this time of year.

5 days of my annual holiday allowance blown on a time of year the weather is not that good!!!!

And the kids hog the computer, I can't work on the car, dig the garden etc.

I need to participate in 'relaxation' says the wife. Apparently this involves 'quality' TV shows such as , Eastenders, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and any other soap.

I now realise I like the 'Stress of the office'

Thats better, nice and calm now...................

Happy new Year

The pull of the office must be in the genes or something,, you know the need to hunt and forage and all that; but as the saying goes "the grass is greener on the other side" and we'll all be knee deep in the ~*#! soon enough. I've managed to restrict my computer usage to just checking emails once a day (no not on Christmas day) and I'm not really missing it - besides my surfing gear is in the wash.

Over the Christmas break I've reacquainted myself with red wine of which I have drunk copious amounts, I've also eaten an obscene quantity of chocolates and like you I've literally gorged myself on crap television. Buy hey that's what it's all about isn't it? That and the nauseating waste of it all - humbug! I went to the rubbish tip yesterday with ten bin bags full of old toys and rubbish. :(

For all it's faults though I do love Christmas and at least we got out of the house today to see Peter Pan (panto) at The Lowry, it was an absolute masterpiece - 'Oh no it wasn't'...

Happy New Year!
:D
