Was the email from BRC Caz?
You're right Charles GFSI will be taking a cut, I'm sure GFSI approval doesn't come cheap.
Ultimately it's the lower masses that always pay, just like life and taxes really. ![]()

It's just good marketing Caz.
They know a crisis or problem generates worry and fear thus creating a need for a solution.
They watch for the next one and quickly and cleverly put something together and bang. There will always be some crisis or new pressure in the world of food safety.
