All:

 

I need help trying to verify that our production lines and processing equipment proper washed out and free sensitizers (FD&C Y5 and sulfites). I would like something like a swab or test kits.

 

How do you verify that your lines are free of sensitizers.

I have looked for items that would test for sulfites on surfaces and was not successful.  If you find something would love to know about it!!  Most organic facilities do a through rinse with plain water well after the sanitizers and just before starting production.

No, yellow 5 and sulfites. Chemicals the can cause allergic reactions in certain individuals.

 

I have looked for items that would test for sulfites on surfaces and was not successful.  If you find something would love to know about it!!  Most organic facilities do a through rinse with plain water well after the sanitizers and just before starting production. 

I have one product in mine with regards to prop 65 but I'll need to do more research on it

Would simple test strips suffice?

 

I would think a 3rd party lab testing for this would be the best way to validate your cleaning program.
