I had a lot of fun living in Baltimore; weather was not part of that.  It's so.... *moist* in the summer ...

Yes, it's "eumid" (Balamerese for humid) in Baltimore in the summer.  I grew up in Baltimore, so I'm familiar with the summer stickiness there.

It's less so here on the Eastern Shore and in the mountains.

Where in Charm City did you live?

Martha

D*#n Dog!   Tried different picture.....did that work?

Don't like humidity!!  Well let me rephrase that the amount in California is lovely.  Spent some time on the gulf, the humidity was terrible and it always smelled of mold and petroleum products.  Gross!!!  I love California, northern or southern, but can't take the commuting and the high cost of living.

Desert means dryness-baked not steamed. No hurricanes, seldom have a tornado, earthquakes are rare and seldom over 3 on the Richter scale.  Can get some flash flooding but that's only a couple of days a year.  Lots of sunshine and clear skies.

LOVE THE DOG!

But this unassuming post has opened the door to learning a lot about each other, and having some pleasant conversation while getting things done.  That's something I enjoy about this group, there's a fun spirit mixed in with the helping and discussions.

Another thanks to the sponsors, the admins and mods who provide us with this verbal sandbox to learn in, to interact in, to play in, and to build relationships in.

I don't think you should judge any city by its bus depot.  YMMV

But bus depots are where you find drugs, which is super important when you're traveling in a new city!  It's like how you can tell how civilized a society is by the way they treat their poorest citizens.  Or how you make sure you see how someone treats the waitress before you marry them.  Srsly, bus depots are the reason I'll NEVER again set foot in Amarillo TX.  NEVER.  My god.

I went to the mall of America and took a bike tour along the river too, but those weren't as ...educational ...as the bus station.

Across the street from the Raven's stadium ... in an old warehouse we called "Nowherehaus".  The fire inspector used to kick us out every now and again, but it was okay.  Close to the train tracks, which was how many of us traveled.  Natty Bo I miss, but I did not care for the early wake up that came with game days.

Dog & Tuesday happiness achieved

Ohio is not a very gracious host, but I'd love to have visitors. Lol
