Hi,
after finding an insect inside washed vegetables (alive) we start to review all our washing vegetable procedure.
how insects will survive all washing process ? I am aware that chlorine will not kill insects but washing vegetable vigorously , soak it in chlorine tablet for 10 minutes , rinse , using drying machine and the insect is a alive!!
and by the way , the rocket was a packaged fresh arugula , imported from Italy , that`s why we can`t take changing supplier as a corrective action since this is the highest quality / most expensive type of rocket leaves in the local market.
did any one face such a thing before ? what if we use those home made pesticides as a pre- washing step to kill those insects?
is this will be efficient ?
Thanks
