Hello,
Do anyone of you here has a sample quality plan? Is it product specific? or could it be created as a general plan?
Thanks,
Lorbi

Hi Lorbi ,
There is a goodtopic from ASQ will give you a clear idea about QP , it is in the below link .
http://asq.org/learn-about-quality/quality-plans/index.html
Is it a product specific ? practically some organizations do it , I prefer to be have a QP for the process and the product will be included in it ,
Could be created as a general , it is clear what does you mean be general , so the answer will be May be YES may be NO ,QP is correlated to the processes and products , so if the products / lines are similar and processesis the same it may be yes .
For the sample it depends on the level and goal of the QP , is it strategic, operational , ... , if you provide more information what is the target of the QP this will be helpful .
Generally when we are doing QP
- we define the targeted process .
- Draw the flow diagram (FD) .
-Define each step in the the plan according to the FD
-In each step we stat when and where it will start by whom , what he shall do , how ( by which method and which tools ) . what is the target , what is the records , what is the corrective action in case of deviation who is responsible for verification .
it may be extended more according to the level and scope .
Best regards ,
Ehab

Is it similar to a HACCP plan?

We are not on any SQF level. But the audit is a QS audit.
Generally, we have similar processes on our products.

Hi Lorbi,
It's probably a question of definitions, eg haccp "plan" vs haccp "system".
from the link in post 2 -
A quality plan is a document, or several documents, that together specify quality standards, practices, resources, specifications, and the sequence of activities relevant to a particular product, service, project, or contract. Quality plans should define:
- Objectives to be attained (for example, characteristics or specifications, uniformity, effectiveness, aesthetics, cycle time, cost, natural resources, utilization, yield, dependability, and so on)
- Steps in the processes that constitute the operating practice or procedures of the organization
- Allocation of responsibilities, authority, and resources during the different phases of the process or project
- Specific documented standards, practices, procedures, and instructions to be applied
- Suitable testing, inspection, examination, and audit programs at appropriate stages
- A documented procedure for changes and modifications to a quality plan as a process is improved
- A method for measuring the achievement of the quality objectives
- Other actions necessary to meet the objectives
Sounds like a Manual.
