Hi all,
Water hose carrying water under high pressure ( 330bar/4500 psi) to equipment. The maintenance guys were asked whether this hosing was food grade, when they investigated the suppliers told them sheepishly that it if " suitable for food plants" but couldn't come up with food grade certification. What are the risks apart from if the hosing ruptures an pieces fall into the product? It is blue in colour so would be immediately obvious as would the spray of water coming from the rupture......water being carried is potable, municipal supply.
