Hi Finy,
A trend report - put simply is just a summary of the reports through a certain period of time that makes it easy to spot patterns in the data.
For example:
Quarterly EFK fly killer trend could be a table showing Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 EFK results for different species of flies/locations in the factory. This could then be put into a graph if you like so you can easy spot trends (peaks and troughs).
Hope this helps.
Best regards
John

I agree a graph is better. Also it's a good idea to have warning and action limits (this may be different for different areas or "type" of area, e.g. low risk vs. high care.)
Some retailers and auditors also like to see rodent trending (for takes outside, hopefully none inside!) but EFK is normally seen as adequate by most.

Many pest control companies can actually supply you with their own trending reports, if you just ask for it.

Pest Control Trend Report:
Are you catching the same, more or less of the same pests?
Are you catching different pests than before?
Increase in pests due to seasonal variation (hatching season)?
The trend chart (changes in pests detected/caught) shows you if your pest control program is working or needs to be changed.

You might go to page below and search for "Pest trend" or maybe just "trend" . There are numerous sample graphs on this forum.

I would suggest that once you graph the information, you provide a summary of what the graph is telling you along with your signature and a date. This will prove that you reviewed the graph. You will have one graph for rodent bait stations, interior rodent traps, insect light traps, etc. You may also break it down by month, quarter, or year depending on the frequency you determine to be acceptable. If you find an unfavorable trend, be sure that you document your investigation along with any corrective or preventive actions that you take.

the trend report normally looks at activity of pests over a year it will also show where the hot spots are for activity.

Hello,
It is a processed data, form your daily pest control monitoring. We report it on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. There you can conclude if the pest control program is effective based on the processed data which include, location of EFK, rat traps and glue boards, the number of insects killed, crawling or flying insects.
This report determined if you need to increase the frequency of treatment or maybe your housekeeping is not functional or effective.
P-prevention
E-exclusion
S-sanitation
T-treatment
On the acronym above, treatment of chemicals is the last option, because if the first 3 are effective, no need to do the number 4 which is applying pesticide.
