Good evening.

I've been looking through v7 for guidance but not found anything in detail.

We have, in the past provided plastic plates and metal cutlery in the canteen. The canteen is microwaves and vending machines.

It was decided to remove these due to a lack of cleaning by some staff.

Should we now re-provide them or not?

My gut feeling is that we should so we have control, rather than allowing staff to bring their own in.

Does anyone have any guidance/experience in this?

Hello,

 May i ask ,

how did you take the decision of removing these machines ?

was it upon visual inspection or microbial analysis ?

and do you need to remove the vendor of plates by another or the machines that sterilize itself?

Regards

Mohamed

Currently v7, as per our last audit. Obviously this will change when the new BRC is issued.

I asked my colleges into Microbiology and they said that there is no limits , as BRC standard just need Environmental monitoring program to be done and you put the parameters.
