nope. your products should always be off the floor (floods, critters, filth). The easiest route is to use pallets/skids to put your products on. You can then easily move them for cleaning and protect goods from damage

Indeed, that isn't a good practice. There shouldn't be any contact with the floor. 

 

Be sure to use food grade materials to store your products, to avoid any contamination of the tea.

Hi Hriday - I used to be quality manager at a tea factory & I agree with the other comments - definitely not.

 

Whilst the aW won't support microbiological growth, microbiological contamination is still possible & also foreign body contamination & pests too.

 

As you know tea is also very hygroscopic & absorbs taints/odours very quickly so is best kept off the floor in sealed units until packed into customer packaging format.
