I work at a pasta shop.  We use Panko Bread Crumbs in some of our ravioli fillings.  On our labels they are only listed as "bread crumbs".  I do know their is a slight nutritional difference between panko and regular bread crumbs.  On our labels does it need to specifically state 'Panko" or is just 'bread crumbs' ok?  Thanks in advance for the help.

Are you listing this ingredient solely as "bread crumbs", or is it "bread crumbs: followed by sub-list for bread crumb ingredients"?If being sold in a retail setting, it is important that all the ingredients that make up the bread crumb are are listed on your ingredient statement for possible allergen or food sensitivity purposes. As long as all the ingredients are listed, I believe "bread crumb" would be sufficient.
