New hear I'm sales manager at medium size bakery ingredient distributor. Fighting the big fish of the world to survive in the new overly restricted world we live in. Never sure how much compliance is enough and how much is a waste of time  and money.

As you know, the Food Safety Modernization Act was written by the Grocery Manufacturers Association and passed by a wide margin in Congress back in 2010.

Welcome David.

It really  is never ending - FSMA, GFSI, Food Fraud, compliance, this and compliance that.

Enough is never enough when you have a major incident.  Memories fade though so even a year after an incident it's feeling to some like a waste of money...  The answer is "you never know".  Unfortunately hindsight is the only way of knowing you've not spent enough and sadly you never know when you've spent too much as you don't know what you've prevented.
