Next week there will be another SDF competition! Have you guessed what it is yet? That's right, the member who is deemed by the forum management to be the contributor of the week wins.

FAQ's

What can I win?

A pair of Clemmer books.
Posted Image

But I've already won a pair in a previous competition.

It's OK if you are contributor of the week you can have an alternative prize to the value of the books.

So what do I have to do?

Contribute to the discussions with lot's of high quality posts.

When does it start?

Monday 0800 19 April 2004

And when does it finish?

Friday 1700 23 April 2004

When will I find out if I've won?

Monday 0830 26 April 2004

How do you decide the winner?

We use quantitative measures like ‘number of posts' but also qualitative measures like ‘Hmm that was interesting.' We might even create a spreadsheet.

Does that mean if I post lots of ‘one word' and ‘emoticon' answers I could win the prize?

Err no.

My word it's so simple.

It is.

That's why I love SDF - the competitions are so simple and the prizes are great!

I know.

Regards,
Simon

I learnt the art whilst dodging the tumbleweed when this place first opened for business back in December 2002. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that I'm a fully qualified black belt of b~lls~~t. :blahblah:

Cue tumbleweed!

It's hilarious…even a competition that requires nothing more than everyone to go about their daily business degenerates into yet another disaster.

:rofl2:

I love you guys.

At the beginning of the week when posting was sporadic at best we could not have foreseen the frenetic burst of unadulterated posting that would come to pass by the end of the week. Instrumental to the bumper posting week was the Shittelgroover affair which provoked much interest and discourse. At times the verbal jousting got slightly heated but in time honoured SDF tradition it remained polite. I thank all members for your valued input during the week and it was very difficult picking a winner for 'Contributor of the Week.' After much deliberation we selected a winner and it gives me great pleasure in announcing Charles Chew as SDF Contributor of the Week.

Congratulations Charles please forward your postal address to me and I will send the books on to you.

Regards,
Simon

Well done Charles.

I must say I enjoyed the Shittlegroover affair.

Shame I could not add my own brand of 'off the wall' replies as it was out of my expertise.
