Does anyone know how to microencapsulate a concentrated liquid product using starch and I'm to use the freeze drying method. I need procedure

I had a friend that worked for the company that patented this process.

Remember him talking about how they syrup released itself in those McD pancake type sandwiches - fascinating.

Don't know the name of the company, but it was located in the Minneapolis, MN USA area.
